Job Description General Profile Summary
This is a key senior management and leadership role withinthe Autodesk Consulting (AC) EMEA organization and part of the EMEA ManagementTeam. We are looking for a strong and experienced individual that will beresponsible for the management and leadership of a EMEA wide consulting teamfocussing on the BIM related services. Consulting Managers will often get involved with projectsand clients during the proposal phase, supporting Sales, Business Developmentand Customer Success teams to develop scopes of work, estimates, and schedules,ensuring alignment with the AC Service Solutions, to successfully delivercompelling business outcomes for both our Customers and Autodesk. Consulting Managers take ownership for defining vision andsetting direction for a their respective services line and hiring, building,developing and retaining consulting teams to deliver.
Critical Competencies/Minimum Requirements Industry * Experience (10 years) of AEC Design Construction and O&M Lifecycle management in a customer or supplier environment including working knowledge of typical IT applications and systems currently being utilized in these industries. * Working understanding and experience of BIM Implementations and the organizational transformation needed, (people, processes and technologies). * Ability to relate to AEC customers based on past experience. * Awareness of Autodesk technologies and solutions an advantage.
Consulting Practice Management * Consulting Practice Leadership (5 years) Managing, Developing and Growing a Consulting Organization, business, teams and solutions. * IT Management (8 years) demonstrated experience with leading complex customer project implementations. Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve project objectives and deliver projects that ultimately go into production within cost/schedule constraints. * Working experience in a Sales or Business Development role or Sales management is a plus * Working experience with Business Consulting and Process Improvement methodologies. * Working experience with software implementation project management methodologies throughout software development project lifecycle. * Working experience consulting with customers to architect and design solutions based on business requirements. Experience with delivering software to customers for acceptance. * Experience with delivering solutions to customers with Autodesk technologies an advantage. * Demonstrated ability to hire, build, develop and retain teams. * Writing skills demonstrated ability to review and write scopes of work, project-related documentation, and develop and present presentations * Demonstrated ability to estimate solutions delivery projects * Ability to travel 50% of time depending on assigned projects and project requirements
