LinkedIn Account Director - LinkedIn Marketing Solutions in Amsterdam, Netherlands

We are looking for an Account Director to join our team in achieving our goal of being the most effective place online for marketers to engage with professionals.

You will be responsible for selling LinkedIn s digital marketing solutions to the world s most sophisticated marketers, helping them connect with our audience of success-driven professionals. Taking a data-driven led approach to sales, your role is to act as a trusted advisor to a number of our top-tier clients. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will develop tailored presentations specific to the industry in which you work in order to help your clients achieve maximum ROI. You will also work closely with your dedicated account manager to ensure these well thought-out campaigns execute flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a bi-annual Pursuit Plan for your industry in order to achieve quota

  • Present the value of marketing solutions to C-level executives working in a mix of fast-moving and traditional industries

  • Deliver a consultative sales approach for each client that answers their marketing objectives

  • Analyse data and market trends to support the development of solid strategic business plans, feeding into client pitches

  • Attend relevant Marketing Solution product trainings, remain abreast of all upcoming product solutions and explore our various suite of products across LinkedIn in order to deliver a cohesive sales approach to your clients

  • Manage multi-layered, multi departmental and complex negotiations at C-Level leading to an always-on sales approach primarily targeted at the B2B sector potentially across industries like Finance, Services and Tech

  • Successfully drive revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships and annual deals

  • Pioneer best practice sharing that raises the bar amongst your peer-group built upon either prior industry or sales knowledge

  • Take on new initiatives to drive impact across the business incorporating leadership and leverage

  • Available to work in the Amsterdam office with travel in the local market

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing existing business in a sales environment

  • Fluent in Dutch and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in online or traditional media sales and the utilisation of social selling techniques

  • Carried and hit quota of >$1.5M incorporating complex sales cycles in a competitive advertising marketplace

  • Experience working in either the Finance, Services or tech sector and/or in a role making recommendations to marketers (ideally B2B)

  • Experience in brand management, along with creative or media agency experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of how Internet advertising technology works and the ability to explain it in ordinary terms

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
