The Business Operations support role provides support to Teradata Business Management team in managing the operational and financial aspects of Professional Services (PS). This position will provide an ambitious graduate the opportunity to work on their own initiative, show their ability to work under pressure and gain fantastic experience in a Global company. This position will give you a strong insight into a very successful professional services business and work very closely with the business manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the PS invoicing process with order and backlog management, revenue flashes, revenue recognition, reconciliation, credit notes, etc.

  • Consolidate project resource plans and financial outlook based on project manager input

  • Run and distribute selected Excel reports monthly and on ad-hoc basis

  • Support PS financial review process

  • Develop and maintain PS (Professional Services) Excel tools (like utilization and sales support reports)

  • Maintain PS archive of customer contracts, bid review documentation, etc.

  • Management of outside contractors: obtaining VP approval, initiating systems, management purchase orders, approving invoices.

  • Understands financial management and/or professional consulting business operations

  • High attention to details, financial data, numbers, and data correctness.

  • Very comfortable expert user with IT-tools (like MS Office Excel, Web applications)

  • Results and success oriented, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure.

  • Meets deadlines and produce high quality work.

  • Ability to work with high degree of self direction

  • Initiates and builds relationships with people in an open, friendly, accepting manner.

  • Works to anticipate internal and external needs and is committed to client satisfaction.

  • Develops new approaches for situations in which standard approaches do not apply.

  • Adjusts to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.

  • English language skills and fluent in Dutch

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably from business school
