Philips Internship: Consumer Marketing Vitalight (Healthy Sleep Solutions, Non Thesis) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Participate in an internship with Royal Philips Healthy Sleep Solutions. This means being part of our global consumer marketing team from day 1. You will have many responsibilities by managing projects on your own. It will give you the opportunity to learn from and work with inspiring, ambitious people in different disciplines. You will get a good flavor of the consumer marketing world within Philips; delivering meaningful innovations to consumers every day

You are responsible for

You will assist in re-structuring the existing product portfolios, and managing geographical product rollouts in close collaboration with the key functions and agencies preparing content, as well as a fluent and frequent communication with manager and key market organizations. Tasks range from hands-on activities such as set-up and preparation of costumer presentations to handling product launches in our markets. You will be working with several stakeholders in the company, from managing assets with our Marcom team in Pittsburgh to discussions with the legal team in Amsterdam up to interacting with our technical team in Drachten to ensure a smooth launch of our propositions. One thing is certain: You will not get bored.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards their Bachelor in Sciences/Master in Sciences WO (Bsc./Msc.) in the areas of:

  • Business Management and/or Marketing with a focus on B2C (preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics).

  • Entrepreneurial attitude and show commercial and interpersonal skills

  • Able to combine a strong market- and consumer drive with product and industrial affinity and creativity.

  • An excellent communicator, with keenness to convince others.

  • Fluent in oral and written English.

  • Because of the multi-disciplinary teams, you need to have a broad interest in various fields of activity.

  • Having good planning and organization skills

  • Show eagerness to get the job done

  • Able to balance strategic thinking with a “hands on” and pragmatic approach.
