Client Solutions manage liability driven investment strategies encompassing both assets managed directly on team and using the broader fixed income capabilities of BlackRock. Client Solutions also delivers BlackRock’s Fiduciary or Outsourced CIO services and advise pension funds and insurers on their overall investment and risk management strategies. We have built in-house expertise to assist clients in tackling challenges due to changes in industry regulations.

This work informs the design, construction and execution of investment solutions that help our clients achieve their long-term objectives. Who we are
The Client Strategy and Design team is responsible for the design, development and support of LDI solutions to institutional investors. The team is the primary contact point for clients and prospects and leads the development of our LDI investment proposition for the key LDI markets in Europe. The team works closely with three partner teams within Client Solutions:
Client Fulfilment Team – This team is responsible for coordinating the team's mandate change and service excellence efforts for LDI mandates.
Strategic Market Views – This team is responsible for our capital market assumptions, model portfolios and thought leadership programme. They also develop and maintain our portfolio construction toolset.
Portfolio Management Team – This team is responsible for trade construction, implementation and on-going management of LDI portfolios and delivering bottom-up product and market knowledge and execution expertise.
Develop and execute a business growth strategy for the region – you will be the LDI business representative for new business opportunities in the Netherlands.
Lead the continuous enhancement of the LDI business in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for identifying areas for business development and prioritising and driving forward initiatives.
Design and implement client specific LDI strategies. Specific stages that you will be responsible for:
Engaging with the investment offices of existing and prospective clients to identify the investment challenges they face and to understand their goals and objectives;
Designing solutions using BlackRock’s analytical toolset and market views and preparing client materials
Articulating/explaining results to clients;
Facilitating the implementation of an agreed investment strategy; and
Providing ongoing technical support to the client with respect to the mandate (i.e. training and educating, delivering mandate and market updates, resolving client requests).
You will play a significant role in the idea generation and production of Thought Leadership tailored for LDI clients and prospects in the Netherlands.
Working closely and in partnership with internal stakeholders across the organisation to achieve the above.

What you should have
5 years of LDI experience (either asset management or advisory)
Track record of growing a business and managing relationships with a sophisticated institutional client base in the Netherlands
Detailed and broad technical product and market knowledge across fixed income universe
Detailed knowledge of the nFTK and the broader Dutch pension environment
Excellent Dutch and English communication skills in writing and speech; capable of connecting with multiple audiences
Experience managing and working with multiple stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
High level of self-motivation, ownership and initiative
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent team player
