The Partner / Manager leads a Consulting Services practice (solution or offer based) within a country, area, or region, and is responsible for:

Consulting Services orders, revenue, and profit.

Engagement planning, staffing, quality, and execution.

Client satisfaction and relationship management.

The Partner generally has a dual reporting relationship to both a more senior Partner as well as to Sales. The Partner works on a peer level with Teradata Account Executives and identifies revenue opportunities for consideration by the Teradata Account Executive.

Teradata Benelux is looking for his/her Professional Services Partner/Manager

The Partner has accountability for engagement teams that may include Consulting Services Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and GDC resources, as well as contractor, and client resources. It is the responsibility of the Partner to staff projects with Consulting Services staff resources, GDC resources, and contractors in order to achieve gross margin objectives. The Partner leads, manages, and supports the delivery of client services ensuring that the Consulting Services organization delivers innovative industry and horizontal solutions to our clients on time and within budget.

At lower levels, the Partner shares P&L accountability and management of assets and expenses with a more Senior Partner and contributes to revenue with a personal billable target.

The Partner shares responsibility for the recruitment, development, and retention of Consulting Services consultants, and fosters a culture of knowledge sharing and asset generation and capture. The Partner may also provide input and recommendations to their respective business solutions group and contribute to the development of new techniques, models, and plans within their areas of expertise.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Sales Support and Business Development: Supports Teradata Account Executives.

Provides Consulting Services sales support for services and solutions for on premises or cloud based Teradata, Teradata Aster, Hadoop, and other agreed upon services and solutions.

Engagement Management/Project Oversight: Resolves escalated customer satisfaction issues.

Resource Management (People, Methodologies, Tools, Budget): Shares management of assets, expenses, revenue, and P&L. May manage through other supervisors such as Project Managers and Project Tech Leads.

Knowledge Capture and Re-use: Makes effective use of existing assets. Utilizes TSM and other available Consulting Services methodologies. Captures and submits knowledge assets.

Qualifications

Skills

Knowledge of Architecture Principles, Advocated Positions, Design Patterns, and Implementation Alternatives.

Understanding of the Teradata Reference Information Architecture.

Work with the appropriate project management methodology (Agile or Waterfall) based upon customer and project requirements.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor Degree

In depth technical disciplinary knowledge in the IT field

Project Management and Data Warehouse or Big Data implementation experience

Consulting experience with Teradata, Teradata Aster, Hadoop, or similar consultancy (6 yrs)

Fluent in Dutch and English
