Due to the rapid expansion of our Technology business and in response to the success of our in-house recruitment delivery model, we are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Amsterdam. Together with your colleagues in London, Oxford, Munich and Amsterdam you will attract and select talent for all disciplines, with a special focus on Technology.
You will report to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager for EMEA based in Amsterdam.
What will you do?
Deliver an industry-leading Talent Acquisition service; sourcing the highest quality candidates and offering a great candidate and hiring manager experience. Of course, doing this quickly and cost effectively is also important. Deliver innovative sourcing solutions to meet business demands, pro-actively building talent pools for future needs and pro-actively search, identify and directly engage with the best talent internally and externally.
Leveraging creative and innovative recruiting techniques to engage and excite talent at all levels. Using a multi-channel strategy to maximize the opportunities to interact with candidates to ensure we can hire talent directly to the company.
Manage the full recruitment life-cycle for all roles, with a specific focus on Technology. You will be experienced in developing an effective hiring strategy, building a solid pipeline of candidates, selecting a shortlist for the hiring manager, having interviews and manage your internal stakeholders. You will need a ‘can-do’ mentality and a desire to make things happen. Possessing a proven track record, you will have the natural gravitas to truly partner with hiring managers. Managing candidate expectations, providing accurate and timely feedback and closing the deal with chosen candidate(s)!
Employer Branding & Diversity; you will help to build the Elsevier Technology brand and have proven experience in campaign development, including social media channels, to effectively attract and engage with technology talent. You will lead the way in presenting a diverse shortlist and offering equal opportunities for all roles.
Market Mapping & Analytics: Providing consultative expertise and insight into relevant recruitment market(s) across all levels of the business and ability to report on successful sources of hiring to ensure return on investment.

Finished Bachelor’s or Academic degree.
At least 5-7 years relevant work experience in a recruitment role (in-house recruitment role and agency recruitment) preferably having a track record in hiring for technology roles
Someone who can operate effectively in a large, matrix global environment
Proven capability of direct sourcing including use of social media, headhunting, Boolean search and non-standard searching solutions.
IT Literate with in-depth knowledge of ATS, ideally Taleo and CRM. Technology savvy with all kinds of systems and platforms and expert in aligning the right Tech channels.
Able to deal with high recruitment volumes as well as more specialist vacancies, managing multiple vacancies at any time across a variety of disciplines.
Strong consulting skills and experience in translating business objectives into Talent Acquisition solutions. Ability to consult and challenge stakeholder recruitment requirements.
Fluency in English and Dutch, experience in recruiting in the Dutch labor market.
Personal competences: team player, customer focus, creativity, excellent communication skills, structured though flexible approach to work, good planning and reporting skills, persuasiveness, result oriented and self-starting.
