Philips Supply Manager in Best, Netherlands

Your challenge

Ensure that a portfolio of suppliers are performing to the agreed service levels towards the Philips Health Systems Service Parts Supply chain (SPS).

You are accountable for the supplier’s lead time, responsiveness and delivery performance. Next to that you drive improvement projects on associated KPIs as needed.

By ensuring that suppliers deliver the service parts to the Philips Health Systems Service Parts Supply chain, you contribute to the global availability of service parts towards Philips customers.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with suppliers and Global Planning & Supply team on inventory and excess & obsolescence cost reduction related to suppliers

  • Work together with (Strategic) Planners, All Special Assistance Parts (ASAP) team and outsourced operations in operational daily management to tackle supply related escalations

  • Liaise with SPS Global Planning & Supply Process & Systems, SPS Logistics, Procurement, Supplier Quality and all Business Innovation Units (BiU), in order to deploy the processes at the suppliers that will structurally improve suppliers' performance

  • Team up with Global Supplier Account Managers and Commodity Managers of Health Systems to ensure that contracts secure SPS and service’s strategic goals e.g. supply chain aspects and follow up in case of supplier-related performance issues

  • Support supplier performance reviews for performance towards SPS with Supplier Account Managers and Commodity Managers

Your team

The Supply Manager reports to a Senior Manager Global Planning & Supply within Philips Health Systems.

You will be a team member of the SPS Global Planning & Supply (GPS) team; both other Supply Managers, Strategic Planners and Business Planners are direct colleagues. You will work in an international environment in close cooperation with:

• Commodity Management and Procurement Engineering

• Other SPS departments such as Logistics and ASAP

• Supplier Quality/Q&R

• BiUs on project basis

• Various Operations teams on project basis

We are looking for

  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering, supply or supply chain management (MBA preferred)

  • At least 10 years of experience in the supply management or service field

  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organizations

  • Strong abilities interfacing with senior management, both internally & with external suppliers

  • Proven ability to lead by influence people and teams

  • Ability to initiate and drive changes and innovation

  • Proven global skills. Experience in cross-cultural environment (projects, teams, management).

  • Willingness to spend time traveling, including overseas.

  • Track record in change management projects / innovation
