Drive customer service levels up and inventory and cost positions down in a global and complex business.

As Manager Supply Planning Group, you coordinate demand and supply on business / category level in such a way that world-wide availability of products is optimized.

Your responsibilities

As Manager Supply planning group, you will:

  • Lead the team of supply planners, encouraging teamwork and driving daily performance through KPI management and building the teams capabilities

  • Manage the integral inventory levels over the end to end supply chain with objective to optimize availability of products in the regional distribution centers to achieve targeted availability performance, customer service level and back orders.

  • Manage relationship with Commercial Organizations, Business groups and operational teams from an end to end supply chain perspective.

  • Risk management; analyze and assess potential Issues, highlight and quantify supply/sales risks towards operational teams, Commercial Organizations and business groups

  • Organizes the department processes within the restraints and strategies of the BG personal care.

  • Develop and improve processes in line through the Lean philosophy

Your team

The Supply Planning Group consists of 5 people and is part of the total Drachten Supply Chain Management team. You will work in close cooperation with you colleagues within the markets as well as other supply chain management departments within different factories. You will report directly into the Supply Chain Manager and you have a dotted line to Senior Director Commercial Supply Chain.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimal Bachelor’s degree (in supply chain management or comparable).

  • Proven track record in supply planning, supply management or SCM operations, preferably in consumer goods industry

  • Leadership skills, able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels

  • Senior stakeholder management & strong communication skills in international matrix setting, fluent in English

  • Persuasive, analytical, hands on mentality,

  • Adaptability to talk/manage different levels of audiences

  • Microsoft Office and SAP/JDA knowledge required
