This is a great opportunity for a seasoned professional with interest in global procurement. Focusing on commodity strategy development with short and mid-term focus, senior stakeholder management, data analytics, driving breakthrough procurement solutions and project work. You will drive & participate in sourcing innovation initiatives (for example DfX conventions), develop and execute negotiation strategies, improve the efficiency and outcomes of the team, their processes and Philips’ projects. You will become a member of the cluster Personnel, Business & Mobility services within Philips IMS. The focus will be on Personnel services, with a focus on Time Hire, Payroll, Recruitment and Outplacement services.

You are responsible for

  • Commodity management

  • Sourcing and contracting Personnel services

  • Supplier management & classification

  • Spend analytics

  • Saving opportunities development & implementation

  • Support implementation of new sourcing systems & tooling

You are a part of

The team of Personnel, Business & Mobility services belongs to the team of Indirect Materials & Services. You will be closely working with other senior managers in the same team, to collectively drive business value in the relevant sourcing projects, with best in class procurement capabilities in the area of Source-to-Contract. You will be a part of the global procurement team and you will be either based in Amsterdam or Eindhoven with frequent visits between those two locations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • M.Sc in business, technology, or economics

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in the following fields: personnel, business/professional services

  • Commodity Management

  • Able to manage high exposure stakeholders

  • Great personal skills, easy communicator and team player (nice compact team)

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
