Innovation & Strategy is guiding the course of the company and enabling us to achieve our ambitions in health technology through innovation. Our open innovation approach harnesses relationships with external partners, leveraging company-wide synergies in technology, research, design and IP to bring innovations to market faster and more effectively. The scope of Innovation & Strategy includes, Design, IP&S, Chief Medical Officer, Product and I2M Excellence, CTO (e.g. Research, PIC B’lore, HealthWorks, CoEs Architecture/SW, Innovation Management, Data Science & AI), Strategy, Sustainability, HSDP, CDPP and Emerging Businesses.

All entities within Innovation & Strategy are playing a key role across the whole of Philips. Given the transformation towards becoming an operating company, more solutions and platforms, an increased role in building and strengthening (strategic) capabilities in defined area’s is a key priority for I&S.

In view of this we are looking for strengthening the HR Team of I&S with a HR Program Manager who will play a key role in supporting the various activities in this scope.

Your responsibilities

  • Driving programs/projects related to capability building in various domains critical for Innovation in close collaboration with the leaders of the Centers of Excellence (e.g. Architecture)

  • Maintaining and co-drive continuous improvement of the competence frameworks in the respective domains including related (HR) activities such as supporting management on talent management, learning and development, career experience maps

  • Acting as liaison with the relevant HR community in the Business/Market to ensure understanding, buy-in for effective implementation and best practice sharing

  • Defining the project/program plan in close collaboration with management and HR BP’s andensuring execution and implementation of the program/project as well as progress reporting and communication / information to relevant stakeholders

  • Involved in projects related to: functional job catalog enhancements with an initial focus on the R&D function, workforce monitoring/tracking

  • Providing overall HR support on selected topics as defined within the business and HR agendas within I&S and the broader I2M scope. The team You will be part of the Innovation & Strategy HR Team and report to the HRO I2M.Main location will be the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. We are looking for

  • BSc/MSc degree, or equivalent, ideally in a relevant field (such as human resources, psychology, counselling or business,).

  • Operational HRM experience in an international environment

  • Project management skills preferably acquired in a multi-disciplinary setting with an international scope

  • Has > 5 years of relevant working experience, including experience in successfully managing various projects

  • Thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of Human Resources discipline, experience in competence/capability building as well as organizational development is highly preferred

  • Good influencing, collaborative and relationship building skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint

  • Affinity with an innovative, creative professional ‘knowledge-worker’ environment

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BSc/MSc degree, or equivalent, ideally in a relevant field (such as human resources, psychology, counselling or business,).

  • Operational HRM experience in an international environment

  • Has > 7 years of relevant working experience, including experience in successfully managing various projects
