Your Responsibilities

Being a dynamic and self-propelled team member within the Hue Connected Lighting System Integration and Test team that is responsible for the overall system quality. Your challenge is to develop and maintain the automatic test framework to test and support the release of new systems or system components and software updates under the time constraint of a very dynamic and vibrant consumer market.

To be so you are responsible for test case definition, test (script) implementation for automatic test execution, analyzing issues reported by the test framework to determine their root-cause, and in extending the Continuous Integration/Delivery system to take in subsystem updates as soon as possible and give early feedback to the sub-system development teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Translate new Hue System functional and non-functional requirements into test requirements and test cases to test new features;

  • Expand and maintain the Hue System automated test framework and develop automated test scripts for new system functions and features to increase the overall system test coverage;

  • Manage and monitor the automatic execution of daily system test runs, including (semi-) automated API tests, integration or verification tests and analyze and hand-over found issues to the subsystem development teams;

  • Development and maintain automatically updated test execution, test coverage and test result dashboards;

  • Act as the knowledge source and technical advisor on the application of the system test framework towards component developers and third party component suppliers.   • Enthusiastic young technical professionals (0 – 3 yrs experience); recently graduated in a Bachelor or Master in preferably Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Sciences or Electronics;
