Philips Internship: Digital Analyst (Non Thesis) in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Being part of the Digital Team Benelux.

During the first period of your internship, you will be involved in all the generic processes within the digital part of Philips Personal Health. This way you will have a clear image of what the role of digital analysts is and how campaigns are being prepared, from the beginning until the end. After this you will enter the world of Omniture (Adobe analytics), by doing deep dive analysis on various channels.

You are involved with collecting and monitoring large sets of data and besides that optimizing and evaluating campaigns for all channels. Analyzing and creating actions from insights is a main part of your daily business together with supporting the 2 digital analysts. You will deliver new, creative and effective ideas based on your analysis and contribute to the online strategy of our categories within Personal Health. Supporting the marketer and the digital team regarding the effectivity of a (media) campaign will be one of your main important activities.

All together means that you will be a spider in the web regarding data and analysis. You will update internal stakeholders (for example a media manager, marketer, online merchandise manager) but also be regularly in contact with the media agencies and all involved parties.

You are responsible for

  • Checking data in database/ -tools

  • Testing campaign tags and tracking links

  • Creating presentations/ updating dashboards

  • Aggregating data from manual data sources into Excel

  • Pulling data reports from Adobe Analytics Performing ad-hoc analyses

  • In addition, more activities related to digital (marketing) analytics…

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Studying towards a Bachelor/Master degree in a quantitative discipline in progress

  • Marketing

  • Business Administration

  • Economics

  • Statistics

  • Interest in Web Analytics Tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics

  • Affinity with social and web metrics, and its application in the Digital Marketing universe

  • Basic knowledge (willing to grow to be advanced in) Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in oral and written English

  • Interest in and passion for data is a must

  • Enthusiastic, quick – learner and data-savvy
