Transition Manager

Your challenge

As a Transition Manager, you will drive the implementation of a part of the Finance Transformation program within Philips Lighting Finance in multiple countries within your respective region. You will be consolidating market Finance activities, harmonizing processes, optimizing processes and in case applicable outsourcing activities to an outsource Service Provider. It is an international role with high visibility within the organization, managing different stakeholders and driving local transition projects.

Your responsibility

Your goal is to realize Fit to Grow benefits and timelines as set out in the detailed business case. Keeping transition costs below target and safeguarding customer satisfaction. You will be working closely with local stakeholders, design project managers and your outsource Service Provider counterpart.

You have an integral responsibility for the project in all phases (end-to-end management):

  • Plan the transformation and/or transition in terms of timeline, resource requirements and assign project/transition roles & responsibilities

  • Manage the transformation and/or transition in line with the project plan and expected savings

  • Drive and execute process standardization, process simplification and process improvements

  • Identify, maintain and manage risks and mitigations plans

  • Manage and realize a smooth implementation of the transformation and/or transition by using the standard transformation and/or transition methodology and ensure effective hand-over to Operations

  • Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders, service providers and team members across various locations in order to secure sufficient commitment

  • Maintain and further develop the standard transformation and/or transition methodology

Philips Lighting Accounting Operations, the finance shared service organization at the core of Philips Lighting Finance, delivers trustworthy, optimized financial services to the business in the area of Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Record to Report. AccOps front office teams, organized around markets, deliver these services in close cooperation with the back office (our outsourcing partner Infosys).
