LM Wind Power has opened a new factory in Turkey and we are looking for an NDT Specialist with specialization in Ultrasonic Inspections.
You will be working on revising and improving the existing, as well as establishing new applicable NDT processes, assuring compliance with the product and process quality requirements. You will be involved in cross-functional projects, aiming to improve the manufacturing efficiency, cycle time and cost of production.
Our new NDT specialist is/has:
A technical degree in Non Destructive Methods and especially Ultrasonic methods such as B-Scan and Phased Array
Level 2 in Ultrasonic according to ASNT (or similar) standards
Experience in inspecting large scale composite structures
Experience in wind turbine blades manufacturing and quality processes
Strong working experience in Ultrasonic inspections within composites industry
We expect that you can communicate fluently in English.As a person, we expect that you are a team player with great communication skills, have a pragmatic approach and have the proven ability to analyse data. You are a well-organized, self-driven person, who is able to work and complete tasks independently and on time. Qualifications/Requirements: Your main tasks will be:
Governing the NDT staff in Turkey and India plants on NDT processes applications
Monitor NDT processes performance
Lead projects and task related with NDT processes improvementYou will work out of our new factory in Bergama, Turkey, but will also have responsibilities in our factories in India, and will report to the Senior Manager, Quality Methods and Processes Engineering, who is based in the Netherlands, and you are expected to travel about 15% of the time.
