Job purpose

Support short and long term strategic field inventory business activities; develop, enhance and maintain analytic solutions and models that will have an impact on business decisions for sales representatives and hospital locations. Analyze business and data requirements to identify trending, relationships, and new methodologies that enable actionable information delivery, drive efficiency and standardization. Work with business stakeholders/subject matter experts to guarantee a clear understanding of the business needs that tie to strategic programs and objectives.

As a Supply Chain Business Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Manage team expectations (i.e. balance needs vs. wants), work with key project stakeholders and business partners to formulate and communicate the business needs for analytic solutions and support

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement analytics, reporting, and tools to maximize service levels, right size inventory, lower excess and obsolete, improve transaction accuracy, use technology and simplify inventory management, control and visibility

  • Design, develop, and validate reports using approved technologies to satisfy business requirements

  • Manage and administer inventory component of the Sales Incentive Plan

  • Effectively document and communicate decisions, proactively elicit feedback, and communicate business requirements

  • Provide support on inventory tools and analysis including dashboards ensuring data integrity

As a Supply Chain Business Analyst your skills and compences will include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field

  • 2+ years of business analytics experience

  • 2+ years of Operations and Supply Chain experience

  • Knowledge/experience with BI tools such as (Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos, etc.)Reporting experience with MS Excel and VBA

  • Fosters collaboration / business partner approach

  • Strong understanding and execution of BA responsibilities e.g. analysis, business requirements, development, customer approvals, negotiating changes in scope.

  • Ability to develop non-complex, highly functional, user-friendly reports and systems that meet business needs

  • High attention to quality and detail

  • Proficient in written and oral communications and fluent in English (ability to translate IT-terminology into layman’s terms)

  • Articulate, assertive, and persuasive with the ability to adapt communication style and approach to audience
