Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated HR professional to join our HR department. Are you looking for a role in an international environment in which you can grow and learn? This might be your change!

As an HR Assistant you will be working closely with the HR Director and the HR Business Partner(s). Your main responsibilities are:

  • Taking complete care of operational HR processes regarding new hires, terminations, extensions, leave requests, drafting employment contracts, drafting confirmation letters;

  • Managing completion of personnel files in case of a new hire / termination;

  • Monitoring end dates and informing/notifying managers and HR about the to be taken actions;

  • Informing payroll about mutations;

  • Keeping the personnel database (Workday) and the personnel files up-to-date.

  • Assist the HR Director with scheduling meetings, book business trips and process expenses.

  • Checking and processing HR invoices and reimbursement requests and processing the yearly HR budgets in the payables system;

  • Support the HR Director and HR Business Partners in the yearly HR processes and projects, f.e. Performance Management;

  • Organize social events like celebrations, anniversaries, receptions and teambuilding days;

  • Perform a correct absence registration (maternity, unpaid leave, vacation days);

  • Provide (on request) reports, organizational charts, gather information for example audits and the organization.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field;

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience;

  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude, self-starter, creative, accurate and with excellent communication skills;

  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes;

  • Fluent in Dutch and English;

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office in general;

  • You are a strong organizer and you want to make sure all HR administration runs smoothly (HR admin ownership).

The HR department partners with the business and is responsible for the whole spectrum of HR including business HR, payroll, benefits, recruitment, training and development also for Business Center employees in other locations.
