About The Opportunity

In this role you actas focal point for one of our key military customers on material support and order administration related topics. You support our military customers andstrengthen the dedicated Defense department.

You will be working for Fokker Services in Hoofddorp. Key Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Day-to-day spare/repair order intake and administration to support your Customer’s material order book and stock;

  • Continuous liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as international partners, customer contacts, IT, procurement and suppliers to facilitate material deliveries and repairs by removing blocking points;

  • Tracking and safeguarding of delivery status, delivery documents, procurability and pricing for spare parts;

  • Material order book performance monitoring and reporting in scope of the applicable ‘Power by the Hour’ contract, such as overdue orders, on-time deliveries and budgets;

  • Preparations, participation and co-chair of Supply Chain Workshops, including intermediary reviews with your Customer;

  • Monitoring and improving Customer satisfaction on material availability and supply chain performance, meaning you manage expectations in line with Customer and contractual requirements and pro-actively approach your Customer and partners if required;

  • As the Customer’s order book representative, you will be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary customer team and part of a global material support community.

Your skills and competences are:

To succeed in this role, you have an intermediate/higher vocational education level (MBO/HBO) or equivalent in working experience. Furthermore, you have at least 3-5 years of experience with customer or material support, preferably in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry.The ideal candidate will be able to translate his material support specialism into strong, flexible and pro-active customer support. Other important requirements are:

  • You enjoy working in an ERP environment solving ERP issues and you are a very experienced ERP user (SAP preferred);

  • Experience with SAP will be a huge advantage for this position;

  • Strong data analytical capabilities, using analytical Excel tools such as pivot tables and formulas to combine multiple data sets for your analysis;

  • Service minded, pro-active and great perseverance in an international political environment with many stakeholders;

  • Able to build up good and sustainable international relations;

  • You must speak and write English proficiently, Dutch is preferred, French is appreciated;

  • You are willing to travel to your customer and partners, approximately 10% of the time.
