About The Opportunity
In this role you create business success by managing supplier relationships and supplier performance. You resolvepotential conflicts of (category) objectives, priorities and interests within business and identify success drivers. Also, youanticipate on market trends such as new technologies and business models. You capitalize suppliers' innovation power by focusing on continuous improvement. Furthermore, you initiate collaborative product/service R&D projects with suppliers.
You will be part of the Procurement & Facility Management department. This department of Fokker Services is an integrated part of the value chain to deliver affordable and innovative (availability) service solutions to A/C Operators and Aerospace MRO Industry. The Procurement Account Manager reports directly to the Director Procurement & Facility Management.
Execute Category/Product Family Group (PFG) sourcing and contracting and exploit Procurement synergies across FT/GKN companies;
Execute Contract Lifecycle Management;
Manage Supplier Relationships and Supplier Performance (continuous improvement);
Co-manage Supply Chain (SC) costs and (product) gross/net margin and manage SC risks;
Co-develop Procurement business strategy, -policies, -processes and (IT)systems;
Deliver (market and supplier) input to business planning and budgeting;
Develop and support operational buying (including E-Sourcing and E-P2P);
Facilitate Procurement collaboration, sharing of knowledge, best practices and learning;
Execute business data gathering and advanced data analysis.
Your skills and competences:
To succeed in this role, you need to have a university Bachelor or a Master degree. You also require aNEVI/Dutch procurement Association level 2 /3 certificate and/or (international) (US: ISM CPSM & CPSD) equivalent certificates or equivalent knowledge and expertise in Procurement and Supply (Chain)Management gained through work experience. Other important requirements are:
Minimal 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, contracting and procurement;
(Contract) Legal knowledge and experience;
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (a.o. excel/access), ERP systems, business intelligence systems (pref. Pentagon, Vendorlink, Teamcenter);
Excellent conceptual analytical and business (case) modelling skills;
Experience in Aerospace MRO industry (AMRO/CMRO);
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal;
You are a proactive professional who has a drive for results;
You like to work in a fast-pace business environment and can manage multiple tasks and projects at once;
You take ownership of your work and also build relationships with others.
