About The Opportunity
The objective of this position is to monitor and improve the performance of aircraft components globally managed by Fokker Services, such as ABACUS programs and Repair Management. To do this, you worktogether with customers to improve the reliability of their fleet and the component maintenance programs. You perform root cause analysis and identify corrective and prioritized actions to improve the reliability of repairable aircraft components. Furthermore, you create improvements and implement them in a cost effective way - for instance, by defining, developing and implementingthe next steps of Condition based maintenance and integrated services for Fokker Services.
You will be working for the product support group at our facility in Hoofddorp. This locationhas 2 fulltime vacancies for Reliability Engineer Representatives for our Bombardier CRJ and Dash 8 power by the hour programs.
Your responsibilities are:
Work closely together with customers on (component) reliability improvements for their fleet and our availability programs;
Provide customers, suppliers and the internal organization with reliability performance insights/reports;
Translate component performance into system behaviour and aircraft availability;
Support the Repair Management with advices and support on a technical level;
Continuously evaluate trends to monitor the effect of improvement actions.
Your skills and competences are:
To succeed in this role, you have obtained a HBO degreeor working and thinking level (in a technical field). Also, youhave 5 to 10 years of experience in a technical, analytical role. You have a passion for technology, showing technical and creative knowledge and expertise. Youhave the ability to develop conclusions to complex analysis of aircraft systems, component and computing problems and show a “balanced” view, making effective use of all available information.Other important requirements are:
You have knowledge of reliability processes and analytical tools such as FMEA and RCA;
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access based analysis and reporting tools;
Experience with Bombardier platforms CRJ and/or Dash 8 is a preference;
Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Dutch;
You are able to develop and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers and your colleagues;
You are a self-starting and proactive professional who can handle multiple assignments simultaneously;
Willingness to travel.
