Curvature Amsterdam branch is in search of a Sales Operations Manager for the European market who can help supports the company’s commitment to building lasting customer relationships and providing extraordinary service.

This is a critical role required to achieve growth in EMEA, and as such, will ensure increased focus on operational efficiency and best practices for the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate is comfortable acting as a subject matter expert with peers and executive sales leaders, is detail oriented, innovative, and able to multi-task in a fast pace sales environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and adoption of sales processes and strategic initiatives.

  • Analyze management information regarding sales performance and sales trends and provide insight to sales leaders.

  • Develop and maintain appropriate customized metrics & reports, including:

  • target setting, reporting, and business performance analytics (dashboards) and ad-hoc information request to sales leadership

  • Develop management level reports that provide benchmarking and progress against key sales goals that are consistent with International business definitions and measurement across sales regions.

  • Provide reporting analytics that help manage direct sales and channel performance.

  • Manage weekly and quarterly sales Forecast.

  • Drive the weekly and quarterly sales forecasting process through providing regional management

  • Work directly with EMEA Sales leaders on Planning and Analysis to ensure forecasting is in line with business plan

  • Drive the data quality initiatives as identified by sales leadership

  • Prepare the weekly Coaching & Cadence file through interlock with sales, consolidate transactions across teams and products and update latest deal status

  • Identify and implement process and reporting improvement opportunities in order to provide sales management with more relevant and timely reporting of sales metrics

  • Manage and monitor sales performance across all brands – Core, Services & Server & Storage.

  • Analysis on sales achievement, vs. budget, vs. target, vs. seller’s quota

  • Serve as a liaison to Finance, Marketing, IT, Legal and Product Marketing for the sales organization

  • Weekly administration and support of Salesforce database including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations

  • Understand and enforce the Sales & Commission Policies of Curvature and manage disputes including, but not limited to:

  • Commission Splits and payments

  • Entity disputes

  • Be liaison between Sales and Operations for issue resolution

  • Maintaining cursory knowledge of the company's products and services;

  • Special projects

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a role that provides sales support, data analysis, and/ or sales finance experience in a competitive sales environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present and communicate analysis in a clear manner.

  • Ability to establish and cultivate strong internal customer focused relationships and work seamlessly within a matrix managed environment.

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned deliverables and timelines.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven analytical thinking, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Stable and consistent work history.

  • Experience using CRM & ERP Applications (SalesForce.com & Oracle preferred) and tools for Incentive Compensation Management.

  • Knowledge of Sales Organizations, Quota models, Compensation plans.

  • Understanding of Data warehouse, Business Intelligence/data tools and technologies.

  • High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, macros, modeling).

  • Highly organized and process oriented.
