At our Bakken Research Center in Maastricht, about 250 clinical researchers, scientists and technical engineers cooperate closely with medical specialists in and outside of Europe to develop new and improve existing therapies in Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management and Cardiovascular Surgery. Our broad range of clinical services, includes international project management, statistical advise, IT support and medical writing, which makes us Medtronic’s authority on clinical research outside of the US. To support these departments we are looking for a clinical study assistant.

A Day in the Life

As clinical study assistant you support our clinical study managers with all administrative activities for worldwide clinical studies. You will set-up and maintain study files and prepare and distribute study documents and materials. Flawless data entry, data processing and data reviews are an important part of your job. In this role you will also collect required documents to ensure timely availability. As part of the clinical team planning and facilitating clinical study meetings is also required.

Must Haves

  • MBO diploma

  • 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in a clinical setting

  • Good knowledge of MS Office

  • Fluency in English

We are looking for a customer focused team player with an eye for detail. To be successful in this role you need to be results and quality oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
