Description
The Repair Center generates cost-savings to the service organization by reclaiming spare parts and assemblies from non-resale instruments to support a lower-cost service contract and warranty service business model, and by processing Service Certified instruments that will be cleaned, tuned, and calibrated and made available for resale.

The/Engineer European Repair Center/delivers professional service activities (service certifications, repair, reclaim of parts) and associated training, maintenance, reparation etc.). The/Engineer European Repair Center/will be executing the tasks and work on achieving the goals assigned to the European Repair Center.

The/Engineer European Repair Center/will partner with the local distribution center and material planning group to manage inventory flow between the repair center and the distribution center. The/Engineer European Repair Center/will also provide training, coaching, and mentoring to local technical or non-technical staff to achieve desired repair center objectives.

The/Engineer European Repair Center/contributes to achieve specific Service related targets as defined in the service KPI's for service order volume, revenue and profit, while complying with AB Sciex policies and procedures.

  • Generate cost savings to the Service Organization by processing Service Certified instruments for resale and non-resale instruments back into R parts stock for reuse.
  • Maintain a high-quality focus to all Repair Center activities. Rapidly react to reported quality issues to drive corrective actions using available DBS tools and methodology.
  • Provides day to day support to the logistics staff
  • Assists with accurate and timely reporting of all Repair Center activities
  • Ensure a fully compliant workplace to environmental, health, and safety protocols
  • Demonstrate effective time management

Qualification
Required Qualifications: * Professional qualification in electronic/mechanical engineering, life science or chemistry. * Computer literate in Windows™ and Networking. Good verbal and written command of the English language. * Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent experience * Valid driver’s license
