Description

Planner 3rd Party Locations:

We see an increased volume which we process at satellite and 3rd Party production locations (Loos, ZOR, Rouen packing,etc). This requires an integrated plan with our cocoa materials supply and 3rd parties reserved capacity. In order to structure this and to make this scalable we need a improved process and planning tools to integrate this into the rest of the CCC cocoa planning.

Create and optimizing Short-Term (0-4 weeks) Detailed Production plan with our 3rd party production locations (Loos, ZOR, Rouen Liqpacking, etc) based input of Orders/Contracts and Prodcution Capacity. Reserve capacity based on Medium term outlook, Production Capacities not limited to cocoa production (grinding, pressing, melting, packing, etc), but also including capacities for (bulk) loading, product storage and tolling. Focus is on order fulfillment (OTIF). Operates with little supervision and makes calculated decisions bases a comprehensive understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures.

  • Responsible for short term (0-4 weeks) production plan (work orders) for 3rd party production locations and identify medium term bottlenecks, balancing demand and production capacity.

  • Responsible for resolving short term planning conflicts with focus on minimizing cost to serve and impact on customer within 3rd party production sites by proposing solutions (e.g. ask for prioritization of customers (PLM), capacity scaling/reduction (PLM/Operations), Network optimization (Master Planner/PLM), etc)

  • Responsible for leading regular production planning meetings and manage relationship with 3rd party locations and relevant stakeholders;

  • Responsible for Material Resource Plan (MRP) for raw materials, packaging and ingredients.

  • Responsible for driving 1 set of numbers via system via standard planning tools.

Managing Powder “embargo” stock:

Our inventory of embargo products are a continuous challenge to manage. There is a strong dependency with Quality, Operations, Allocation and CS to limit the inflow of rejected and expired products and to ship, re-pack or rework out of spec products. Focus is on, but not limited to, powder.

Manage the embargo stock to limit inflow of rejected products and have a clear destination and execution plan for embargo products. Report frequent on stock health of the products to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Responsible for frequent discussion with quality and operations to review inflow of embargo stock

  • Responsible identifying destinations and alternatives for embargo stock (repacking, etc) and accurate overview;

  • Responsible for defining stock health KPI and monthly reporting on this KPI

  • Accountable for follow-up on embargo destination plan (re-work, delivery to identified customers, etc)

Back-up;

  • Primary Back-up; Production planner Zaanstreek Network (Powder and Butter)

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIRED

  • Bachelor degree in areas of Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.

  • Good level of Dutch and English (verbal and written)

  • Experience in setting up system enabled solutions

  • Good understanding of supply chain planning practices/procedures and logistics processes

  • minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning/scheduling role

Skills

  • Experience in JDE and Business Objects reporting

  • Understanding of Production control systems

  • Hands-on problem solver with “can-do” mentality

  • Analytically strong, good with numbers and highly complex calculations

  • Advanced understanding of tools & systems supporting production planning processes

  • PC literate (e.g. MS Office Suite) and advanced Excel skills

  • Good understanding of plant production processes

  • Good understanding of product applications at customers
