Communications Industry Solution Architect, CX Product Development

We’re looking for an experienced Industry Solutions Architect to join the CX for Communications Industry Solutions Team, in CX Product Development. The candidate will work works directly with sales and CX product teams to support of customer engagements, establish C-level alignment and a solution driven approach, using industry expertise to identify and support transformational CX initiatives. The key areas of responsibility will include:

1. Drive New and Expansion Deals in targeted markets and customers:

  • Partner with sales teams to educate customers, sales teams and partners on the Oracle CX Industry solutions value propositions and architectures.

  • Design solutions for customers in the context of their existing solution landscape.

  • Assist with customer migration strategies and objection handling during the sales cycle.

  1. D rive CX Industry Solutions at Speed
  • Define Best Practices, Solution Level Pricing and Rapid Implementation of Oracle Industry Solutions with key partners.

  • Establishing business patterns and best practices surrounding transformational solution delivery for key sales plays.

  • Define and create experiential solution level demos to show case innovations, use cases and customer journeys with Innovation Labs, Partner labs and demonstration teams.

  • Collaborating with Solution Consulting to demonstrate Oracle CX solutions and differentiators.

  • Assist in POC / CRP planning and execution.

3. I mprove Industry Platform and Products:

  • Identify and prioritize solution gaps and requirements to product development teams

  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge from across amongst the customer and partner community

  1. Improve Industry Platform and Products :
  • Must have minimum 8-10 years technical industry expertise as a consultant or pre-sales consultant in the Customer Experience / CRM domains.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Engages in business development strategies and programs in support of Oracle

  • s Sales Organization.

Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Engages in many areas of business development to include strategy, programs, demand generation, building pipeline, increasing deal size, and account planning. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities and develops strategic direction from market information. Identifies volume and strategic customers. Primary interaction is with Oracle sales force; however, may interact with external customers as it relates to the development and facilitation of ongoing business and/or business relationship. Supports the business by interfacing with the sales organization and other internal groups (such as Product Development, Operations, GBUs, Marketing, etc.)

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 12 years of Marketing/Business Development experience in the technology industry, preferably software industry. Experience should include relationship management. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
