AngioDynamics Product Manager in Netherlands
The Product Manager drives upstream and downstream marketing opportunities by identifying potential products, developing product specifications and timetables while collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and Regulatory. The Product Manager also manages downstream marketing efforts by developing the product positioning statements, clinical and sales education in conjunction training, Marketing Communications and Sales. The Product Manager is responsible for developing the business models, annual financial budget, and forecasting for their respective product line.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpstream/Commercial Development Marketing:Recommends the scope of product opportunities by evaluating new product ideas.Downstream Marketing:Marketing the product range in the local markets and obtaining leads.Business Planning:Works with sales management to formulate product sales and marketing strategies.Obtains market share by analyzing correct market and sales data.Prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, special reports and analyses; present forecasting analysis to senior management for review and assessment.Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, and costing special and customized orders.Market Intelligence:Determines customers’ needs and product specifications by understanding market data, trends, customer behaviors, and the competitive landscape to maximize current and future opportunities.Utlize market and competitive intelligence in planning and decision making.Provides source data for product line commncations through peer reviewed literature.Assesses product market data by visiting customers with territory managers and evaluating market needs.Defines product marketing communication objectives.Proactively and concisely communicates necessary information to key constituants.Ability to effectively collaborate and engage with cross-functional departments.The position is responsible for providing clinical / in-service support to physicians using their technologyThe above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities.May perform other duties as assignedRegulatory ResponsibilitiesManages in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirementsQUALITY SYSTEMS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIndividual Contributor - Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor Level of Degree in the Business, Marketing, or other related field field of study3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing/sales in a medical device fieldAny preferred education, experience or certifications: NIMA A/B
Proficient in the following computer software applications: Word, Excell, PowerpointExceptional interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills.Pro-active.Strategically agile.Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English and any other European language preferred).Self-starter with strong entrepreneurial skills.Ability to deal with a fast paced, dynamic environmentAbility to effectively communicate both internally and externally.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
