Job Description / Information

GENERAL SUMMARY:

In this position you will be responsible for the planning, forecasting, and inventory positioning of aftermarket and service parts; includes employing statistical forecasting models to balance material availability against inventory carrying-costs and obsolescence. Your success is measured through the reporting of weekly KPIs. Working under very general supervision, you will be expected to proactively solve supply chain problems of varying scope and complexity. You lead cross-functional teams and are expected to present data across multiple functional groups within the business. Frequent application of demand planning principles, theories, and concepts is required. As Supply Chain Analyst you will be responsible for warehoused inventory analysis, as well as guiding 3PL operations worldwide. This includes performing daily system-level activities, proactively identifying areas of risk, and implementing changes to ensure customer availability.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead global forecasting and planning activities for the aftermarket business which makes up 25% of total company sales.

  • Analyze global sales trends to maintain acceptable customer fulfillment rates for all managed SKUs.

  • Lead cross-functional aftermarket Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP) meeting. This includes breaking-down complex data obtained from cross-functional areas and implementing new forecasting methods based on this data.

  • Report and maintain worldwide KPIs. Perform analysis, including initiation, coordination, and execution of recovery plans when metrics fall below goals.

  • Work closely with production and buyers to ensure a +95% fulfillment rate by balancing conflicting customer requirements.

  • Coordinate U.S. and international 3PL activities including monitoring costs, maintaining inventory accuracy, troubleshooting errors, and setting up new SKUs (stock keeping unit).

  • Perform material velocity analysis.Develop and implement inventory stocking strategies based on historical data, demand forecasts, and the product life cycle.

  • Oversee warehouse inventory cycle count process including ensuring that inventory investigations and adjustments are handled per standard process. Improve process where warranted.

  • Interact with senior management on significant supply chain impacts.

  • Lead cross-functional process improvement projects.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Showing proven experience in managing suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Relevant medical and/or technical background.

  • 5 years of work experience and proven business analysis experience within an operations or supply chain.

Hands on mentality and imitative taker

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • IATA DG Transport kennis is een pre DG (Danjerous Goods)

  • SCOR (Suplly Operations Reference Model)

  • Demonstrated data analysis skills.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in the medical device industry

  • Experience with 3PL management.

  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. Access skills are helpful.

  • Advanced user of an ERP system, preferably QAD

  • Knowledge of SCOR terminology

  • Preferably max. commuting distance of 30 min.

  • Excellent international internal and external communication skills (English)

  • Proficient experience in English.
