About The Opportunity

This role gives you the opportunity to develop the Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (CMRO) business at Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers and for managing existing substantial accounts.

You have a sales & marketing background, win strategy with new and existing customers and are able to form long term strategic partnerships.

You will be working for Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht and report to the Vice President/Managing Director initially.

Key Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Generate and win new customers for the CMRO business to a total of € 5 million yearly, within the capabilities of Fokker Techniek support shops;

  • Take responsibility for finding new customers/leads;

  • Make pricing proposals that are compliant with Fokker Techniek budget requirements;

  • Propose and provide vision and strategy on a 5 year horizon;

  • Maintain and expand the (long term) relationships with customers and partners;

  • Generate market research / intelligence from within CMRO industry in Europe;

  • Commercial and contractual awareness compliance with all export control and ITAR regulations;

  • Generate and negotiate proposals for customers and communicate the positive aspects of contracting with Fokker Techniek.

Your skills and competences:

In order to succeed in this role, you require a relevant HBO education and a minimum of 5 years' work experience in the Aerospace environment / Aerospace Component Overhaul industry. You understand the component overhaul market and the pricing/margin relationship and are capable of bringing new customers and contracts.Other important requirements are:

  • You are willing to travel;

  • You have interpersonal skills and are able to work within a multi-functional team;

  • In your current role, you have customer relationships;

  • You are a result driven professional with excellent analytical skills and project management skills;

  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbally;

  • Have skills in making presentations/offers.
