The purpose of the Account Operations Manager is to drive mutual profitable growth with top accounts through supply chain innovation, integration and collaboration.
Develop Service models for the different channels that UA operates in, defining, developing and building services and capabilities in support of the business strategy. Drive Supply Chain integration with strategic and key accounts and elevate how we operate with them in line with the defined service models. Optimize seasonal execution of the order book and be responsive to in season opportunities to maximize revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following:
- OWN THE SERVICE MODEL FOR THE PURE PLAYER CHANNEL
Be the operational channel expert. Drive elevation of the channel operating model. Develop a tiered service model, define services and capabilities that will enable UA to be successful in that specific channel.
Drive & support the development of new services and capabilities for a channels that can be scaled over multiple channels.
- DRIVE SUPPLY CHAIN DEVELOPMENT FOR AMAZON & ZALANDO
Develop a service model for your strategic and key accounts in line with the business strategy and aligned with the customer as part of the account strategic plan. Develop & Implement capabilities, services & process improvements in line with the account development plan that will drive (mutual) profitability, reduce lead times and/or delivery performance. Be the operational voice of the customer. Share Retailer Supply Chain insights & evolution with internal business partners that allow UA to develop supply chain programs that meet the needs of both UA and our retail partners. Automate transactions between UA and key retail partners (i.e. EDI order entry, order confirmation, sell through data). Eliminate error-prone manual activities.
- MANAGE SEASONAL EXECUTION OF THE ORDERBOOK & RE-ORDER BUSINESS
Make sure we deliver the season according to plan and aligned with the account. Partner up with Sales and Business planning to manage the order book based on Sell thru information and inventory in the marketplace making sure the order book reflects true demand with the account. Lead Order Book reconciliation in cooperation with Customer Service, Sales & Account.
- DRIVE THE BUSINESS
Drive monthly & quarterly shipping (gross revenue) goalsetting for your accounts. Drive the goalsetting process with the Sales, Customer Service & logistics, making sure UA delivers the orders in line with the financial target. Manage and communicate business risks and opportunities in order to hit the shipping target.
- MANAGE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM
Manage & support Customer Service associates in their day to day work. Manage their daily task and set the right priorities. Ensure Customer Service works according to the policy and executes their daily order management tasks ensuring deliveries are followed up with the warehouse according to customer requirements.

Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate:include but are not limited to the following:
Minimum Bachelor in Business discipline.
At least 7 years of supply chain experience within a fast pace e-commerce environment, preferably at a Amazon/Zalando type of organization.
Have a process mindset and experience with process optimization, systems and supply chain integration between retailers and suppliers.
Have specific knowledge with regards to EDI integration and Drop-ship/partner programs.
Experienced in translating commercial strategy into an operating model and supply chain solutions between vendor and supplier with the ability to (help) build a business case to support investment decisions.
Able to influence and coach management team and peers, able to implement new way of working, able to think about mutual profitability and having a continuous process improvement mind-set.
Has the ability to think strategically and translate this into achievable actions.
Fluent in English is a must, German is a plus.
