Oracle Communications Global Business Unit (CGBU) represents Oracle in the Communications industry. Oracle CGBU is responsible for the development, marketing, sales and consulting of Oracle Communications specific products, and leads Oracle’s strategy in the communications industry. The Application Sales Representative position has been created to support the significant investment Oracle has and continues to make in the Communications market. The Application Sales Representative will be responsible for selling the Oracle Communications products to enterprise customers.

Requirements:

  • 5 years Applications Software sales, i.e.: ERP, CRM, BI, Supply Chain, HCM etc.

  • Sales Hunter - experienced in uncovering new opportunities and growing the sales pipeline

  • Quarterback – ability to run sales engagement from inception to close.

  • Ability to Collaborate with Oracle ERP & NetSuite team to qualify and close opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of Oracle Cloud Monetization Platform (Billing / Order-to- Cash) to Enterprise Customers in Europe.

  • FOCUS is selling to existing Oracle ERP & NetSuite accounts

  • Responsible for hunting new business in a defined territory

  • Responsible for managing a complex sales cycle to C, D & M level customers in a defined territory - primarily CFO

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 3 or more years of sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle

  • s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with Bachelor degree or equivalent.
