Crowne Plaza Amsterdam-South offers each guest a

diversity of facilities. The hotel offers 207 rooms. Besides that, the hotel

has the newest bar and restaurant, hotspot of the “Zuidas”: Manhattan

Lounge-Bar and one o one restaurant .

In addition, the hotel has its own fitness centre, a club lounge and banquet

and conference facilities.

As an Assistant Front Office Manager you will:


Assist the Front

Office Manager in all aspects of their duties


Control the

availability of rooms, rooms types, accuracy of room count and rate categories


Liaise with

Housekeeping Department to ensure room image is maintained and the rooms

policy is adhered to


Be aware of credit

policies and procedures and liaise closely with Finance Department to ensure

that credit procedures are properly carried out


Compile statistics

for front office and provide reports relating to that area



inter-departmental relationships to ensure seamless guest services


Assist in the

preparation of efficient work schedule for Front Office Team, arranging

holidays, taking into consideration project occupancy and forecasts and any

large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals or



In conjunction

with the Front Office Manager interpret the department's budget


Provide input for

Front Office Department Meetings and deputize in cases of absence



Inter-hotel sales and in house facilities


Support the Front

Office Manager to ensure employee orientation, training and succession planning

is carried out to standard



awareness of health and safety policies and procedures and ensure all

procedures are conducted safely and within guidelines
