The Team

The mission of the Country Global Enterprise Model (CGEM) is to define the next-generation coverage model for Cisco’s Global Enterprise Customers. It’s charted to provide a globally consistent customer experience and lead the transformation to grow Cisco revenue and profit in a sustainable way. The CGEM Netherlands Operation is in charge for three of our top Global Enterprise Customers from across various industries with their Headquarters based in the Netherlands.

What You Will Do

The Lifecycle Management Sales Account Manager will acts as a key member of the Netherlands CGEM Account Team. This role is a customer and partner facing sales professional who drives the overall success of Cisco (across chosen architectures and services) for these three customers on a global level, including orchestration and frequent interaction with the team members that are distributed across the globe.

In This Job You Will:

  • Manage the sales and booking process associated to the worldwide roll out of specific projects across the three accounts while ensuring the software licenses and services are included in the deal.

  • Build intimate partner and customer relationships across multiple countries.

  • Have the opportunity to drive closure of deals based on an existing agreed architecture.

  • Ensure the existing install base for all customers are being renewed on a timely basis via the Icebreaker methodology, when

1) purchased directly by the customer

2) via a partner or

3) by liaising and staying closely aligned with other internal Cisco partner teams when the management of the services renewal is managed by those teams.

  • Look for possible upsell opportunities and further develop and eventually sell these to the customer and/or partner.

  • Ensure proper use of the internal operations team to leverage these operations capabilities at all times.

Who You Will Work With

You will work closely with the NL Headquarter team and international team based out of APAC, EMEAR and Americas, interacting, teaming, learning and developing on a continuous basis. As part of Cisco CGEM Netherlands HQ Sales Organization, it will be necessary to be a team-player and understand to work cross-functional on a global level. This includes, but is not limited to Services Sales, Architecture Sales, Operations, Partners etc.. This will ensure we will capture the maximum results of the customer roll-out plans while ensure timely delivery.

Who You Are

  • A true team player that is willing to go the extra mile for customer, partners and the team

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales account management

  • Understanding of consultative selling and business outcome led delivery approach

  • Fluent in English and (at least) intermediate Dutch. Willing to travel on a global basis

  • Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively by leading and leveraging cross functional team and resources.

  • Exhibit strong communication skills, keep team up to date with progress and have the ability to ask for help if and when necessary

  • Ability to influence decisions related to Cisco technologies / solutions across customers IT and Lines of business

  • Detailed understanding of all back-office systems leveraged in support of the business, partnering with management to establish operational objectives and assignments

  • Knowledge of Cisco product, services and solutions offerings, software portfolio, data & analytics, security and industry trends (e.g. IoT and Cloud)
