Your role:

-assist with client servicing and relationship management for institutional clients, and organize follow-ups after meetings or calls

-proactively build an in-depth knowledge of UBS AM's range of investment strategies

-work closely with different divisions of UBS Group to increase our market share in Benelux & Denmark, and leverage existing UBS network to establish sales relationships over time

-act as an ambassador for UBS and be responsible for market research, as well as peer analysis for positioning investment strategies and help with definition/implementation of regional sales strategy

Your team:

You will join our Institutional Client Coverage team in Amsterdam and will assist with growing our business in Benelux and Denmark across all institutional distribution segments - we manage a significant pool of institutional assets across various asset classes in the region. You will regularly interact with various colleagues within our institutional platform, who have strong investment expertise of all asset classes (including Real Estate & Alternatives), combined with knowledge of institutional clients across EMEA. As a new member of the team, you will show willingness to learn and develop further into an institutional sales and relationship management role with commercial skills, eye for detail and knowledge of the (institutional) investment landscape. You will help the team manage the relationships with pension funds, pension asset managers and insurance companies (among other clients), and will report into Head of Institutional Clients Coverage, Benelux & Denmark, who is also based in Amsterdam.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

-several years of client facing / client servicing experience, and an ability to provide sales and relationship management support to senior members of the team (i.e. you have worked in a similar role at an asset manager, pension fund, insurance company, investment bank of in investment consulting)

-strong communication and commercial skills, coupled with knowledge of financial markets

-an ability to master complex products and structures, and work with various product groups to deliver commercially-sensible solutions to clients

-a high level of integrity/maturity and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management internally/externally

-experience of working in a large institution with a demonstrated collaborative approach to working alongside various teams

You are:

-degree educated (minimum Bachelor's degree from a leading university), preferably in a numerate discipline, and are a CFA Charterholder (or willing to complete CFA studies)

-organized and able to keep an overview of own task list and activities within the team

-self-motivated, structured, persistent, as well as effective at working both independently and as part of a team

-able to provide effective solutions to complex scenarios, learn quickly and evolve in a fast paced, fast changing environment

-fluent in Dutch, and have an excellent command of English
