For maternity cover, between July 2018 and January 2019 we are looking for a Sales Support Analyst. The idial candidate is a strong analyst, has decent project management skills and is a process minded person. The Sales Support Analyst is able to generate reporting, but also interpret all data and formulate actions. Secondly he/she is a strong project focused person taking the lead in various projects and managing these to a successful conclusion. With acquired deep knowledge of the sales support processes the Sales Support Analyst can support the sales support group with process optimization and solutions for exceptions. This role reports directly into the Sales Support Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

The Sales Support Analyst is responsible for four pillars of activities. First pillar of responsibility is managing/ initiating and implementing projects in the sales support and sales & operations (S&OP) arena. Second main responsibility in this role is the monthly updating of the sales support KPI reporting & interpretation of these KPI’s. Third pillar of activity for the Sales Support Analyst is to take care of all ad hoc analysis and reporting support to the Sales Support Manager and sales support group in total. Lastly the Sales Support Analyst is responsible for analyzing all current Sales Operations procedures and providing suggestions for improvement were needed.

  • Creation of standard processes and ways of working

  • Creation of standard sales/sales support procedures

  • Manage/initiate and implement Sales support efficiency improvement projects

  • Create and analyze monthly KPI reporting

  • Provide Sales Support team leaders with root cause analyses and Risks & Opportunities identification from created reports

  • Analyze on ‘waste’ (number of returns, credits etc.) and take corrective actions

  • Agent of Compliancy to our SOX narratives. Responsible for identifying and escalating breaches of our codes of conduct.

  • Owner of Sales Support Manual and therefore expert in all processes within the Sales Support domain.

  • Able to assist Sales Support Team with operational support if required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Commercial, Financial or Operations

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a business analysis or similar role

  • Experience in project management or a project management degree

  • Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Customer Service minded

  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment

  • Expert in MS office suite, especially excel

  • Experience with SAP and/or a similar ERP system is highly preferred

  • Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus


  • This is a temporary role (approx 6-7 months) because of maternity leave cover, starting in July 2018

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

  • Willingness to travel on occasion to the various locations of HARMAN within Europe
