We are looking for a seasoned Event Marketing professionals to join our Global Events team. Do you have 8+ years of working experience as an Event Manager organizing international (healthcare) tradeshows and congresses? This could be the job for you!

We deliver event experiences around the world, representing our healthcare and personal health businesses. Our team develops and creates Philips ​top tier events to diverse audiences and an extensive portfolio of health solutions.

You are responsible for

  • Deliver world-class tradeshows, congresses and events

  • Create replicable event marketing platforms, brand experiences and enable successful implementation with measureable results

  • Apply a broad marketing view to understand and support business and marketing objectives to drive business growth

  • Consult and collaborate with sales and marketing organizations to ensure we deliver an environment that will drive preference, progress pipelines and differentiate Philips in the marketplace

  • Optimize tradeshows and congresses to generate high quality leads, and strengthen metrics, ROI reporting, and CRM integration.

  • Build strong relationships with Industry Associations and negotiate optimal space/sponsorship opportunities.

  • Manage preferred agency relationships, onboard new agencies, support the tender process in collaboration with procurement.

  • Help drive events at scale enabling people in the organization to organize impactful, on-brand tradeshows and proprietary events themselves by providing guidance, tools, and infrastructure

  • Ensure a synchronized and robust content, sponsorship, thought leadership, messaging, syndication and surround strategy for every event in collaboration with our event communications manager

  • Ensure all Philips ‘brands’ and products/solutions are represented based on audience profile, interest and competitive strategy

  • Support internal and external Philips events, sales meetings (Global Kick offs, Leadership Meetings, Product Launches)

You are a part of

As a Senior Event Manager at Philips you are part of the Global Events team. This consists of 34+ talented event marketing professionals, customer engagement experts, and financial and operations excellence. We manage multi-million dollar programs to include trade shows, congresses, analyst meetings, customer visit centers, internal executive summits and private/proprietary customer events. ​

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 8+ years proven experience managing major multinational trade shows and events, preferably in a Corporate environment

  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Events or Communications

  • Demonstrated expertise in effective multi-channel event delivery (PR, Social, Proprietary, Exhibit, Sponsorship, Executive/Thought Leader promotion, Pre/Post promotion, metrics)

  • Strong acumen in Agency management and collaboration

  • Strong ability to interact and influence stakeholders across the organization, including C-level executives

  • Experience in leveraging a global sponsorship strategy

  • Knowledge and understanding of unique event rules and requirements in key cities around the world

  • Capable of planning and executing world-class internal and external events, incentives and surround strategies

  • Manage large and complete budgets

  • Ability and motivation to advance into progressively responsible roles across Philips
