As Product Implementation Lead you are experienced with the implementation of Lab Automation instruments. This involves interaction and relationship development at the regional service level. In addition, you guide the implementation process through demonstrated expertise of Laboratory Automation and processes. Solutions range in scope from medium to large implementations requiring standardization across lab automation instruments.

You must be able to clearly communicate, thoroughly document and demonstrate product implementation competency. This also involves working within the region by gathering customer requirements, defining best practices, procedures and consulting.

Next to this the role involves:

  • Performing the required tasks to drive timely and successful product launches.

  • function as a mentor for team members.

  • collaborate with our global regions to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation and in such a way that the Regions will become self-supporting in carrying out BD Kiestra Lab Automation instruments implementations at customers and ongoing support

  • provide training to the regions team members for the BD Kiestra Platform and procedures that are required for instrument implementation.

  • Observe and improve process where necessary for optimal results.

  • Contribute the continuous improvement of implementation processes such as UmbrellA program and maintain effective training materials as part of this.


  • BS/BA Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related technical discipline.

  • Min. 3 years’ experience within a healthcare environment with technical (systems) involvement and computerized system applications.

  • Project management experience in a technical / laboratory customer environment.

  • functional knowledge of microbiology workflow processes.

  • Ability to function within, interact and guide diverse cross-functional teams

  • Able to Mentor team members on products, best practices and customer education.

  • Fluent with Lab Automation Instruments.

  • Familiar with ISO 13485 and / or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and an accompanying QMS.

  • Fluent in English, Full professional proficiency.

  • International travel may range from 10%, overnight travel included.
