Description

As Strategic Initiatives Lead, you'll be part of the Nike Direct team driving the future of digital and physical retail from Nike's European Headquarters in Amsterdam. You’ll be working with the Director of Strategic Planning to define business initiatives and plans in support of the Nike Direct growth strategy, and leading the execution of key strategic projects for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and drive key strategic initiatives to help realize Nike Direct’s strategy, engaging with key leaders to define project scope, set up implementation and drive execution

  • Provide insights and analytical support for strategic initiatives, research projects related to market trends, consumer profiles and competitive intelligence

  • Develop high-impact presentations to engage the necessary stakeholders in key programs of work

  • Be a chief agent for change, leading a from/to mindset to guide multi-functional teams from opportunity to reality

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required, MBA preferred

  • At least 5 years’ working experience, including 3+ years in top tier strategy consulting

  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence, managing upward communication to executive leadership teams and top management

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to solution and deliver projects

  • Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries, and competitors

  • Critical thinking and strategic problem solving skills

  • Superior writing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ideally Keynote

  • Strong affinity with Sports and [online and offline] Retail
