Product Manager/Strategy 3-ProdDev
Outbound Product Management role covering Oracle Digital Amsterdam hub and the Central European Market
This role will serve as the main point of contact for Amsterdam location of Oracle Digital. Oracle Digital is Oracle’s inside sales team consisting of sales reps, consultants and lead development reps calling on Commercial (under $500M) and Enterprise accounts.
As the main point of contact, this person will be responsible for
Being the subject matter expert for oracle Cloud Infrastructure for this team
Regular present the cloud story to customers and internal teams
Assist in on boarding new customers to get them to reference status, deriving reference architectures, build and maintain a code base for infrastructure deployment projects
Train pre- and pos- sales consultants, architects on cloud architectures, and how to provide infrastructure as code
Working and collaborating with the Amsterdam hub of people to grow and expand the cloud business.
Technical capability. Modern cloud infrastructure knowledge, background in engineering, understands enterprise architectures
Collaboration. As the bare metal lead for this team, this person much be able to work well with others and at times with little info as you are pulled in to projects with various groups
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
