Job Mission

The sector Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the maintenance of ASML systems on customer locations and supporting the customer in the use of these systems in his production process. Within CS the NPI (New Product Introduction) DUV & YS team is responsible for:

  • CS representation in DUV product development projects

  • CS NPI Process and (worldwide) continuous improvement initiatives of NPI projects

  • Facilitating DUV, EUV & Apps portfolio managementYour mission is to manage a team of Project Officers that support the CS NPI project management teams (DUV, EUV & Apps) and worldwide DUV & YS continuous improvement projects.

The team’s responsibility is to:

  • Drive efficient and successful Portfolio, Program and Project Management

  • CS NPI “Way of working” with respect to e.g. processes, templates, tools

  • Facilitate program and project governance structures and status reporting

  • To deliver project services towards local NPI sites enabling them to execute projects on their allied High-Volume Manufacturing sites. Activities are e.g. Project blueprint development, global planning and reporting, WoW/toolbox definition

  • Create insight for decision making

  • Facilitate NPI decision making platforms for governance bodies (CS PGP Key Decision Review, Project Portfolio Board, Program Board, NPI Change Control Board)

  • Drive the project organization to report on their main KPI’s, and building close-the-gap improvement plans

  • Connecting, sharing and collecting

  • Central hub across the 3 teams of project managers of each NPI business line

  • Providing means & methods for communication and sharing of project results and statuses

  • Collect and share lessons learned

Job Description

As Manager for CS NPI Project Office (NPO) you head a team of approximately 7 Project Officers. The Manager also manages his own (worldwide) continuous improvement projects for CS NPI DUV & YS. You will work closely together with the program & portfolio managers in the different CS NPI teams. As member of the CS NPI & NTR DUV & YS Staff you will be jointly responsible for the successful introduction of DUV and YS products into the CS organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Team Management

  • Manages and coaches the team members, delegates tasks/assignments, sets priorities together with the programs, solves problems and contributes to a productive working climate

  • Ensure adequate organization and staffing to meet CS NPI program requirements

  • Ensure proper execution of HRM policies and procedures, conduct employee appraisals

  • Responsible for the quality of the team output

  • Continuous Improvements

  • Own the portfolio of projects for continuous improvement to mature the CS NPI process

  • Facilitate the CS NPI DUV & YS Community (Apps & Eq’t), the community is a world-wide learning, knowledge sharing and operational project/service alignment team

  • Project management of assigned DUV & YS continuous improvement projects

Education

Masters degree (or Bachelor + relevant industry experience) in physics, electronics or mechanical engineering.

Experience
  • Line management experience (1-3 years) in a high tech equipment industry.

  • Project, program and portfolio management knowledge (3-5 years);

  • Proven track record of leading process improvement projects;

  • Experience with standard project management methodologies (e.g prince2, PMI) and LEAN
