The D&E; Imaging & Control department is part of the EUV sector of ASML. Its task is to develop and industrialize the imaging function for the Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines.

Job Mission

The candidate is responsible for the specification, integration and testing of projection optics in the EUV lithography machines.

Job Description
  • Work on improving the adjustment procedures which are needed to get the projection optics in an optimum state, using several mathematical optimization models (called lens models);

  • Analysing data, connect the analysis results to physical phenomena, such as lens heating, mirror vibration etc., and steer towards the proper solution directions;

  • Acquire knowledge on the relationship between projection optics condition and the resulting imaging performance of the entire system in support of customer use case optimization;

  • Work in multidisciplinary team to hands-on trouble shoot all kind of defectivity, electronic, software or mechatronic issues encountered while setting up the system, in the factory or in the field at the customer, thereby collaborating with other manufacturing, Zeiss and ASML customer support teams.

  • Key interfaces: TL, PL, GL, multiple D&E; departments, supplier Zeiss SMT, SE, and module architects.
