Job Mission

Be the linking pin between the ASML Human Resources organization, the IT organization and the outsourcing partners. The Business Process Analyst is accountable for HR-IT solutions within the ICT organization of ASML. You will guide the HR business community in defining business requirements and transferring these requirements into high quality IT solutions. Your key business stakeholders are responsible for: Core HR, Learning, Recruiting, Performance Management, Succession Management and Compensation. These solutions are both SAP and non-SAP focused, both SaaS and on-premise.

Job Description

As Business process analyst you are responsible for the functional specifications and implementation of HR- applications and their integrations, to enable ASML business processes. In the first few years you will focus on selecting and deploying a new Core-HR application. You will also focus on the existing functionality in our ERP environment (SAP) in which we are building a new environment that will support ASML to realize our vision and mission. The Business Process Analyst acts as a central IT contact and subject matter expert for Business key users and Business process owners in the ASML HR organization:

  • Communicates and coordinates with business management, other Business Process Analysts and the IT organization (Operations, Projects, Outsourcing partners).

  • Assesses, changes and refines business processes and related information systems to continuously increase their effectiveness and align with the business and application roadmap.

  • Actively uses knowledge of developments (including benchmarks) outside ASML in own area of expertise to improve business processes.

  • Provides general feedback and improvement proposals, attunement of implementation planning, hands-on assistance, problem solving and reporting requirements.

  • Has the ability to do quality assurance and coordinate configuration changes in the applications of the business processes you are responsible for.

  • Assists in priority setting, control and acceptance of resolution of incidents / problems and implementation of change requests.

  • Is an ambassador of our project methodology, standards, procedures and tools.

  • Is able to lead small internal project teams, acting as a project workstream lead.

  • Manages transition from projects (new developments) to support (run and maintain) by checking all documentation and knowledge transfer by the project teams before go-live.

  • You are involved in third line incident resolution when the (outsourced) incident support resources request it.

  • Most of your business contacts are based in Veldhoven but some are located in the US or in Asia. Therefore business communication is mainly in English.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration

Experience
  • 5-10 years of practical experience.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of HR solutions such as SAP HCM and Cornerstone.

  • At least three to five years of experience with human resources processes in a multinational and complex environment.

  • Ability to document “as is” and “to be” processes and to assist development of business case transition.

  • Experience in translation of Business requirements into IT requirements; and select the correct solution (direction) corresponding these IT requirements.

  • Detailed knowledge of IT systems supporting human resources processes

  • SAP HCM modules (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll interfaces (PU12)

  • Experience with SAP Idoc and webservice integrations is a pre

  • Experience in SaaS HR solutions, such as Cornerstone, Successfactors and/or Workday

Context of the position

The Business Process Analyst is part of the Human resources IT solution team within the Competence Center Corporate Support. You report to the IT Solution team manager and have internal interfaces with HR (key) users and stakeholders and Business Process Analysts of other functional areas.
