ASML Manufacturing Integration Architect in Veldhoven, Netherlands
The Development & Engineering System Integration department (D&E; SI) is responsible for defining and driving the system integration of new products/options for full functional machine and performance qualification within time to market target.
The D&E; SI DUV Manufacturing & Upgrades group within this department is managing all D&E; work preparations for producing Twinscan machines. Including the responsibility for setting up and validating the manufacturing blueprint (sequence) and recovery sequences for proto, pilot and customer systems execution. From the ASSY work centers up to the installation and service at customer’s site, aimed to achieve the optimal cycle time and minimal downtime.
The Architect manufacturing Integration is responsible for the integration strategy, specifications, and assessments related to build- test– and recovery-sequences The factory work preparation can relate to assembling and testing of modules and machines in Veldhoven and at the customer site. The Architect interfaces with Manufacturing managers at production, Planning, Customer Support and other Architects within Development&Engineering.;
Design and coordinate the MI strategy, in alignment with the other system integration architects.
Review the System Specifications and functional specifications to secure the cycle time requirements are properly cascaded
Design of the top level manufacturing sequence;
Perform the manufacturing impact analysis on the system design to assess the risk towards sequence, work preparation and cycle time.
Organize FMEA’s to identify risks that can impact the design and operational process.
Defining the risk mitigation strategy, including identified risks on proto and pilot systems.
Create the overview of the technical project status towards key decisions in the ASML product generation process, representing the integration cluster for cycle time (IC-07).
Close the feedback loop for cycle time from specifications (SDS) via design (sequence) to actuals (execution) and back.
Analyze and support system level sequence and work preparation issues.
Identify and initiate opportunities for process improvements and define tooling requirements.
Manage stakeholders by setting the necessary communication manners (meetings, guidelines, rules, reports etc.) to align deliveries, quality and minimize escalations.
Analyse and determine impact of system integration related cross-sector issues
Bachelor or Master level – preferable in management or technical, industrial engineering (BS in Optical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.)
Knowledge and experiences in sensors, optics, and/or controls of such devices preferred.
Typically you will have >5 years of related working experience. We are looking for experienced professionals with the ambition to work in a high tech industry and to further grow in our organization As an advantage, not a must:
Experience as D&E; Architect
Experience with change management within development organization
Experience in or affinity with the machine industry
Experience in or affinity with either manufacturing engineering, system testing, system integration or configuration management is preferred.
Organizational, flexible and capable to communicate on all levels.
Able to defend own opinion
Strong communicator in English and Dutch.
Able to organize, plan, prioritize and report
Willingness to invest in personal development.
Requires the ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, engineering sketches.
Possesses good oral presentation skills and be able to effectively present results in a program and department meetings.
